Dun-Dun- DUNNNNNNNN

Tomorrow is the day I swore would never happen. I turn 30 years OLD! OLD, not young. I hate it when people say they are "30 years young". WTF ever! I'm not taking it well. I think that my life is passing by way too quickly and it's passing by without me ever having any fun. Don't get me wrong here, I love my life. I do. I love my family, my friends and I even *heart* my job. I just really wish there was more time for all of the things that I love doing and people I love being around. I don't think life was intended for it to be this way. I don't think we were made to work 40 plus hours a week working for the "man" and spend time away from our loved ones.

I really can't complain about my life. For instance, I still have all of my appendages. Which when you look back at all the things that could have possibly taken your arm off and yet you still manage to have it on your person, that's pretty damn amazing. I'm also sane. I'm probably the most "sane" person out of my friends, present readers excluded of course. I also have the family thing down. I don't have a family to "start" or a boyfriend to marry so I'm good in that department. I'm also happy that I'm with someone who is in it for the long haul. Someone who accepts me for all of my flaws, my weird family, and my introvert personality. Thank you for putting up with my sh*t. Let's hope I get better with age.

Do you ever worry that people aren't going to show up to your own party? I do. Maybe it's just my insecurities. Side note, people really need to be more cordial and RSVP by the date requested. That really annoys the FRENCH (rock of love bus) out of me. Thank you for those who did and a big F YOU to those who didn't even feel the need to reply, "maybe", "no", or "yes". As if taking an extra 3 seconds of your facebook time to simply click a button would be too much to ask for. Who cares if I'm saying this anyway? NO ONE READS MY BLOG! and those of you who do, did RSVP. :)

Anyway.

30 is not the new 20. 30 is 30 and I'm just going to have to live with it. On another note, I'm getting WASTED tomorrow night. I don't want to be coherent in any way shape or form. There's only one 30th birthday a girl can ever get. I may as well start the 30's off with a grand entrance.

30 means that you need to post more in your blog :o) I'm not one to talk about the big 3-0 because I took it bad, but in hindsight I was being silly. It sucks, but give it a few weeks and you stop obsessing about your age. I promise. Now... time to get your drink on.
